Gateaux de Bordeaux

Caroline Gniel developed a fascination for canelés while living in France for three years. She researched recipes and tips on how to conquer this notoriously difficult Bordeaux speciality and, on returning to live in the Yarra Valley, she has put her work into practise, producing delectable canelés in distinctive fluted moulds.

The Hickinbotham Family have been involved in the art of wine making since 1936. They have been at the forefront of Australian wine production for three generations. LL Wagyu

Gary’s Dutch Poffertjes

Poffertjes are a Dutch treat very similar to a pikelet or pancake. Poffertjes are about the size of an Australian 50 cent piece. Traditionally poffertjes are cooked and served hot with a topping of butter and icing sugar. Haunted Gully Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Hunted Gully is one of Australia’s very few truly “Cold-Pressed” olive oil. Our oils are Cold-Pressed within hours of picking, using a traditional Italian mat press. The oils produced using this time honoured method have consistently won national awards and proudly carry Australian Virgin Certification.  Haunted Gully oils have just been awarded a

Pyren Vineyard

Pyren Vineyard is a small-scale, family focused producer of cool-climate wines. The vineyard is planted with 50 acres of Shiraz across some step and rocky undulations on the northern slope of the Warrenmang valley.  Twenty-five acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot form a distinct block lying across a gentle rise.

We are a kitchen incubator – we help people to get started in the food business. Our commercial kitchen is available on a part-time hire basis, either for exclusive use or shared with others. With a passion for all things food, we help our clients to focus on their business while we provide the kitchen. Through our experience and industry contacts, we can help you to develop business plans and food safety programs, register with the relevant authorities and find suppliers and customers. Or, you can just hire our kitchen…it’s up to you.
